Constructivity.com LLC develops software to help building owners, operators, and contractors work more effectively by sharing information and collaborating across the entire building information lifecycle.

Constructivity offers the first and only software suite to support 100% of Industry Foundation Classes (IFC), the international standard for Building Information Modeling.

In 2010, we introduced Constructivity Model Viewer, a simple yet powerful tool for accessing building models and quickly extracting information to make informed decisions.

In 2011, we introduced Constructivity Model Server, for collaborating with others on large building models, and tracking who did what, where, when, and why.

In 2012, we introduced Constructivity Model Editor, for coordinated authoring of requirements, architectural design, structural engineering, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, scheduling, estimating, facilities management, and building automation.

In 2013, we introduced the Constructivity One concept with twelve unique application suites that can be switched on the fly within the same environment.

In 2014, we continue to evolve the Constructivity platform.

Constructivity.com LLC is a privately held company based in the United States out of Seattle, Washington, with engineering offices in Ames, Iowa.

Constructivity Solutions LLC, a partner company based in Ames, Iowa, develops real estate and performs construction management services in the midwestern United States, exclusively using Constructivity software; this mutual relationship enables valuable software features to reach the market sooner with real-world quality assurance.

People

Tim Chipman, President
Tim Chipman co-founded Premise Systems in 1998, a leading building automation company acquired by Motorola in 2004. As Distinguished Engineer at Motorola, Tim authored three patents and led product development efforts in broadband, enterprise, and mobile phone divisions. He has held senior roles at Comark, Microsoft, and Lantronix where he served as Chief Software Architect of a $300M public company. Tim graduated from Iowa State University in Construction Engineering and has construction management experience at Parsons.

Paul Hinderks, Vice President of Sales
Paul Hinderks oversees sales efforts and helps shape products to increase ROI for customers. He has fifteen years of experience in sales and commercial asset management at Principal Capital Management and as an independent business owner. Paul has a track record of building sales organizations from scratch into hundreds of resellers, and leverages his asset management background to help customers and partners evaluate cost/benefit. He has served as president of the local chamber of commerce and economic development board. Paul graduated from Iowa State University in Finance.

• Job Description: Develop software for Windows desktop and server platforms, with focus on 3D editing.
• Requirements: Currently enrolled full-time as graduate student at Iowa State University; Authorized to work in U.S.; Able to work full time summer 2014, and possibly thereafter
• Desired skills: Demonstrated ability to create software; Familiarity with C# and .NET; Familiarity with 3D graphics technologies; Engineering background

• Requirements: Currently enrolled full-time as undergraduate student at Iowa State University; Authorized to work in U.S.; Able to work full time summer 2014, and possibly thereafter
• Desired skills: Demonstrated ability to create software; Familiarity with Android and/or iOS; Familiarity with 3D graphics technologies
